The David Rumsey Historical Map Collection David Rumsey's Collection of Historical Maps and Atlases
"The David Rumsey Historical Map Collection has over 18,000 maps online. The collection focuses on rare 18th and 19th century North and South America maps and other cartographic materials. Historic maps of the World, Europe, Asia and Africa are also represented."
Ted's Vintage Art A commercial site offfering "beautifully restored historic maps of over 1,000 states, counties & towns".
Vintage maps of US states, counties, cities and towns, with the creases etc. electronically removed. You can view them all on the web site, and zoom in on them. And you can buy them as high-quality reproductions, either rolled up and mailed in a cardboard tube, or framed and mailed flat.
The Perry-Castañeda Library Map Collection Contemporary maps at the University of Texas
The Perry-Castañeda Library Map Collection is a general collection of more than 250,000 maps covering all areas of the world. More than 5,000 map images from the collection are also available online, including the Perry-Castañeda Library Map Collection: Historical maps at the University of Texas and links to maps on other sites.
Edmaps.com Historical maps of North America and Europe. Also links to many other maps, mainly historical. Site managed by Cristian Ionita of Laval University, Quebec. 57 self-created maps, over 100 scanned maps, many links to maps on other sutes.
Handatlas.de Site managed by Martin Hensen, with text in German and English.
Deals with German hand-atlases, using Jürgen Espenhorst's classification as published in Petermann's Planet. Thousands of images, some of bindings, most of maps.
